Labor & Employment Law Attorney Position Overview :
We are seeking a skilled and passionate Plaintiff Employment Attorney to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience handling both class action and single-plaintiff employment cases. You will play a critical role in representing employees in disputes against their employers, working on high-impact litigation, and ensuring that workplace justice is served.
Key Responsibilities :
* Manage a caseload of employment matters, including single-plaintiff and class action cases.
* Conduct legal research, draft pleadings, motions, discovery requests, and legal memoranda.
* Take and defend depositions, argue motions, and participate in mediations and settlement negotiations.
* Represent clients in hearings, arbitrations, and trials as needed.
* Provide legal counsel and guidance to clients throughout the litigation process.
* Collaborate with a team of attorneys and legal staff to develop case strategy.
Qualifications :
* 2+ years of experience in plaintiff or defense Employment Law preferred (Candidates with 3+ years of general litigation will be considered)
* Experience class action and/or single action employment law matters including: Unpaid wages, discrinination, harrassment, wrongful termination, maternity leave, class action, migrant workers, immigration
* Exceptional oral and written communication skills.
* Ability to manage multiple cases efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
* A passion for advocating for employees and achieving favorable outcomes for clients.
* J.D. from an accredited law school.
* Licensed in CA in good standing.
