Job Title: Patient Care Technician (PCT)
Location: Joplin MO
Job Type: Contract (Travel or Local)
Shift: 3 12-hour shifts (Day/Night)

Position Summary

Navitas Healthcare LLC is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Patient Care Technician (PCT) to support nursing staff in delivering high-quality patient care. The ideal candidate will play a key role in ensuring patient comfort safety and overall well-being in a fast-paced healthcare environment.

Key Responsibilities

Provide direct patient care including assistance with activities of daily living such as bathing feeding and mobility
Monitor and accurately record vital signs
Assist with patient admissions discharges and transfers
Maintain accurate and timely documentation in Electronic Medical Records (EMR) systems
Ensure adherence to infection control and safety protocols
Maintain a clean organized and safe patient care environment
Deliver compassionate care while interacting with patients families and healthcare teams

Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent required
Completion of a Patient Care Technician (PCT) or Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) program preferred
Relevant certification (CNA PCT or equivalent) preferred or required per facility guidelines
Minimum 1 year of patient care experience preferred ideally in a hospital or clinical setting
Current CPR/BLS certification preferred or required
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced clinical environment
Familiarity with EMR systems is a plus
Knowledge of infection control practices and patient safety standards
