Responsibilities
Candidate Overview: Advanced Grinder (2nd or 3rd Shift)
- Pay Rate: $23.00 - $33.00/hr (depending on experience) + Shift Premium
- Location: Cleveland, OH
- Schedule: 4-day work week (Monday–Thursday), 3-day weekends!
- 2nd Shift: 2:30 PM – 1:00 AM
- 3rd Shift: 7:00 PM – 5:30 AM
- The Opportunity: A stable, advanced-level grinding role with a premier, privately owned global manufacturer that has been a leader in the industry for over 75 years.
- Core Machinery & Skills: Setup and operation across multiple grinding disciplines, specifically:
- Blanchard Grinding
- CNC & Conventional Centerless Grinding
- Between Centers & Surface Grinding
- Honing Operations
- Key Responsibilities: Determining wheel speeds and passes, managing grinding wheel care, and performing quality inspections using digital micrometers, indicators, profilometers, and comparators.
- Requirements: High School Diploma/GED, 3–5 years of industrial grinding experience, manual dexterity for large/small parts, and the ability to read blueprints and decimal/fraction conversions.
