Job Title: Heavy Equipment Operator
Job Description

We are seeking experienced Heavy Equipment Operators to join our team on a new subdivision project. This role involves operating various equipment including Excavators, Dozers, Loaders, and Backhoes. The ideal candidates should have a strong background in commercial equipment operation with a minimum of 5 years of experience.

Responsibilities

  • Operate heavy equipment such as Excavators, Dozers, Loaders, and Backhoes efficiently and safely.
  • Perform tasks in accordance with project specifications and timelines.
  • Conduct routine maintenance checks on equipment to ensure proper functioning.
  • Collaborate with site team members to complete tasks and achieve project goals.
  • Adhere to all safety protocols and guidelines while working on construction sites.
Essential Skills
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in commercial equipment operation.
  • Proficiency in operating Excavators, Dozers, Loaders, and Backhoes.
  • Knowledge of GPS Dozer operations.
  • Familiarity with construction site protocols and safety measures.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
  • Experience with skid steer and rock truck operations.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment.

Work Environment

The position involves outdoor work at new construction sites focusing on excavating tasks. Work hours are 6:30 AM to 3:30 PM, Monday through Friday.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract position based out of Lancaster, PA.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $67.44 - $67.44/hr.
