Marketplace Operations Specialist

About the Job:

Continental Marketing Inc. is seeking a Marketplace Operations Specialist to join our team, with a focus on Amazon and Walmart marketplace management. This role supports the day-to-day operations of client accounts across Amazon Seller Central, Vendor Central, and Walmart Seller Center, with a strong emphasis on advertising support, creative execution, and AI-powered tooling.

The ideal candidate has hands-on experience working within ecommerce selling platforms, a working understanding of Retail Media and PPC advertising, and is comfortable using modern AI software to support creative, reporting, and operational workflows. This is not a strategic role, but rather a support-focused position working closely with Account Managers and senior team members to help keep accounts running smoothly and efficiently.

As a marketing agency, we work with a wide range of clients across many product categories, offering exposure to multiple marketplaces, account types, and emerging technologies. This is an in-office position within a professional, collaborative environment.

Responsibilities:

Marketplace & Advertising Support:

  • Assist with Amazon, Walmart, and other channels in advertising execution and reporting.
  • Support Sponsored Products campaign setup, maintenance, and performance tracking.
  • Assist with promotions, pricing updates, and operational marketplace tasks.
  • Help maintain product listings, catalog updates, and content changes.
  • Support in-house marketing need as directed.

Reporting & Operations:

  • Pull, maintain, and update recurring reports for sales, inventory, and performance.
  • Support account health monitoring and basic platform issue resolution.
  • Work with Account Managers to complete projects and special assignments.
  • Provide timely support and follow-through across multiple client accounts.

AI, Creative, and Tooling Support:

  • Utilize AI-powered tools, including large language models, to assist with ad copy, content updates, reporting summaries, and internal documentation.
  • Support image and video creative workflows for advertising using AI-assisted creative tools.
  • Assist with organizing, updating, and QA’ing creative assets across platforms.
  • Learn and adopt new software tools quickly as part of ongoing process improvements.
  • Follow established workflows that incorporate AI, automation, and modern creative tooling.

Requirements:

  • Experience working in Amazon Seller Central and/or Vendor Central.
  • Familiarity with Amazon Advertising, Sponsored Products preferred.
  • Understanding of selling products through online marketplaces.
  • Exposure to PPC or Retail Media advertising concepts.
  • Comfort using software tools, dashboards, and evolving platforms.
  • Ability to learn new tools and systems quickly.
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple tasks.
  • Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
  • Adaptable communication style and ability to work with different teams.
  • Valid driver’s license.
  • Ability to pass a pre-employment background check.

Skills:

  • Strong time and task management skills.
  • Highly organized with strong attention to detail.
  • Comfortable working in ecommerce and advertising platforms.
  • Comfortable using AI tools for content, reporting, and creative support.
  • Clear written and verbal communication.
  • Positive, professional, and team-oriented attitude.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, especially Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Ability to create and maintain accurate reports in Excel and other systems.

Benefits Include:

  • Health, dental, and vision insurance.
  • Paid time off for vacation, sick leave, and holidays.
  • Paid community service day.
  • 401K available to full-time employees.
  • Gym membership subsidy.
  • Dog-friendly work environment.
