Job Description

We are seeking a dependable and hardworking  Delivery Driver. This role is responsible for safely delivering furniture to customers' homes and businesses while providing excellent customer service. The ideal candidate enjoys working as part of a team, is physically capable of lifting and moving furniture, and takes pride in delivering a positive customer experience.

Responsibilities: 

• Drive a company box truck or work van using a standard driver's license.
• Deliver furniture to customers' homes and commercial locations within a 10- to 70-mile delivery radius.
• Safely load, unload, lift, carry, and position furniture during deliveries.
• Complete customer pickups and returns as scheduled.
• Assist with unloading incoming trucks.
• Move and arrange furniture within the showroom for display purposes.
• Handle furniture with care to prevent damage during transport and delivery.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
• Provide courteous and professional customer service during every delivery.

Requirements:

• Valid standard driver's license with a clean driving record.
• Ability to safely lift and move heavy furniture with assistance as needed.
• Reliable, punctual, and able to work well in a team environment.
• Strong communication and customer service skills.
• Previous furniture delivery, moving, warehouse, or delivery experience is preferred but not required.

Pay: 

• Starting at $16.00 per hour , with higher pay available based on relevant work experience.

Schedule:

• Availability required:  Monday through Saturday, 8:30 AM to 6:00 PM .
