Job Description

We are seeking an Accounts Payable Clerk to support our Accounting Payable Manager at our corporate headquarters in Ashburn, Virginia. This role is responsible for ensuring the accurate and timely processing of invoices, maintaining vendor records, and assisting with payment and expense workflows. The ideal candidate demonstrates strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment. This is a hybrid position requiring 3 days in-office and 2 remote workdays per week. 

Qualifications

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES/DUTIES: 

The essential duties and responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following: 

• Timely review Accounts Payable invoices and accurately post for payment in ERP (NetSuite) system. 

• Set up and maintain vendor information including W-9s. 

• Assist with check run process. 

• Assist with monthly expense reimbursement process in Certify. 

• Research vendor statements, phone calls, and discrepancies. 

• Research and resolve Purchase Order and/or invoice discrepancies. 

• Assist with clerical duties as assigned. 

Minimum

Qualifications

• Minimum 6 month's experience working in Accounts Payable. 

• Basic to intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Excel. 

• Analytical and problem-solving abilities. 

• Experience with invoice statements or purchase orders ideal. 

• Demonstrated strong work ethic. 

• Works just as well independently as does under supervision. 

• Effective verbal and written communication. 

• Able to prioritize and reprioritize tasks. 

• Enjoys the repetitive nature of the job. 

Additional Information

The anticipated salary range for this position is $50,000-60,000 annually. Actual compensation will be determined based on a variety of factors, including the scope and responsibilities of the role, as well as the candidate's experience, education, skills, and current market conditions. In addition to competitive base pay, eligible employees may receive quarterly bonus opportunities based on individual and company performance.
